Fundraiser

The Hazen City Marshal's Office conducts various fundraisers to try and off set the money used to purchase certain equipment. All proceeds from the cookbook will be used to purchase new bulletproof vest for all of the deputies.

New Cookbook

In 2008, the then Hazen Police Department began gathering ideas for a fundraiser for the department's equipment fund. The result was a 200 page cookbook featuring recipes from city employees, family and friends. Many of the recipes are old family favorites, with one section including Heirloom Recipes from District Judge Jim Rhodes' maternal grandmother.
The cookbooks are available from the Hazen City Marshal's Office, True Value Hardware, The Corner Florist, and Farmers and Merchants Bank locally. Cookbooks are also available through mail order. The cost of the book is $20.00 and $5.00 for shipping.
The cookbook is dedicated to Arkansas Game and Fish Officer Gary Robinson. Robinson was killed in an auto accident in March 2008, and was a former Hazen Police Officer.
